You can occasionally spot a familiar face along the beaches of French Riviera<\/a> among the many A-list residents living in the area. One famous resident in particular is often spotted; Bono is not that hard to spot, with those trademark glasses he usually wears. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Contrary to what some say, the beaches of \u00c8ze-sur-Mer are public land. It makes it easy for you to see a celebrity passing-by or overhear them talking about their next hit. And that includes Bono. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are all the details about U2’s frontman Bono and his grand villa residence on French Riviera, on the beach of \u00c8ze-sur-Mer<\/a>! <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bono’s House in Eze, France<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

U2’s lead singer (Bono), with the band’s lead guitarist (The Edge), conjointly acquired the luxury property way back 1993, but it’s now owned by Bono. The rumored cost at the time was about \u20ac3.8 million, as it needed a lot of renovations. Nowadays, given Bono’s fame, it would be worth about \u20ac20 million<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The pink, four-story seaside deluxe mansion is called Villa Les Rose. The architectural design is a mixture of an overall Art D\u00e9co and southern France (Provencale) architecture. <\/p>\n\n\n

Bono’s French villa has more than twenty rooms to accommodate his famous friends. Guests can enjoy their stay with pool and spa amenities. There is also a lush exotic garden. Looking over the large terraces is the breathtaking view of the Mediterranean. It is also the site of U2’s song Electrical Storm music video (see below).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bono is also neighbors with Adam Clayton (bass player) and Larry Mullen Jr. (drummer). They join him in the mansion to practice in his white-walled recording studio in the basement. It is also where they rest and rehearse in between concerts and philanthropic works. Fans were reportedly leaking some of their unreleased tracks when they get a chance to record them when they get a little too loud.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It is conveniently located in \u00c8ze, between the vibrant Nice<\/a> and glamorous Monaco<\/a>. Bono\u2019s neighbors in \u00c8ze-bord-de-Mer include fellow U2 member The Edge and singer song-writer Julian Lennon. Tina Turner and Roger Moore lived in the area. Princess Antoinette of Monaco is a resident. It is also relatively close to Johnny Depp’s old estate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
